Wilson ranges
Wilson’s ranges map neatly on to the problems club players have. Ball landing short? Look at Ultra. Want a softer, more flexible feel? Clash. For placement, compare Blade or Pro Staff.

For players who bring their own pace and want to place the ball. The 100 gives you a bigger hitting area than the 98, and there are lighter versions too.
Wilson’s flexible-feeling range. Try the standard 100 against a lighter version and notice how each copes with a fast return.
The one to try when getting the ball deep feels like hard work. Just make sure the extra pace still lands in when you swing harder.
Built for topspin. Judge it on depth and placement with your usual strings, and check which version the shop actually has.
For clean strikers who make their own pace. Check the exact weight, because the 97 and the lighter versions can feel very different.

How to choose
- Not sure? Start with Clash or Ultra.
- If your technique is solid and you make your own pace, move on to Blade or Pro Staff.
- Demo before you buy, ideally with the same string and tension in every racket on your list.
