Solinco ranges
Solinco makes strings as well as rackets. The model links below cover the Blackout and Whiteout rackets, and the string notes will help when you talk to your stringer.

Whiteout V2 305

Pick a range first, then compare the models in it.
A shaped polyester. Worth asking your stringer about if you already use polyester and want to compare spin and control. Agree the thickness and tension first.
A firmer polyester, for players who like that response. Talk to your stringer about comfort and how often it’ll need replacing.
Another polyester to try against Hyper-G and Tour Bite. Keep the thickness and tension the same so you can tell the difference.
Some Solinco strings come in a Soft version. Check the full name on the packet. It’s still polyester, so ask whether it suits your usual setup.
If you want something softer, ask about multifilament or a hybrid. A hybrid uses one string going up the racket and another across, so agree which goes where.
Blackout and Whiteout
Blackout is the easier-power racket. Whiteout gives you more control and feel. Sort your string out first, then demo these if you’re curious.
Start with the string job
Gauge (thickness), tension, string pattern and whether you go multi or hybrid can change how a racket plays as much as the name on the packet. Take your string and your normal tension to a good stringer before you change the racket as well.
Before you buy
The right string depends on your racket, your arm and how you play. Check the gauge, and ask your stringer which tension suits your frame.
