Wilson NXT — UK buying guide

A multifilament option to discuss if you rarely break strings and want to compare a more forgiving setup. Durability still depends on gauge, pattern and how you hit.

Who should consider it?

Gauge and exact version

Buy by thickness in millimetres, not the gauge number alone. Our price rows show only the gauge the shop record confirms; an unspecified gauge needs a new check. Changing thickness can change feel and durability, so change one variable at a time.

Set or reel?

Try a set before committing to a reel. Divide the reel length by the metres your stringer actually uses per racket, round down, then divide the reel price by that number. Add labour each time. Account for unusable leftovers and hybrids; a reel is not automatically cheaper.

Reel prices are not yet recorded for this string.

Starting tension

Use the recommended range printed on your exact frame and agree a starting band with your stringer. Record the material, gauge, mains and crosses. A single tension is not a fit for every player or string.
