Who should demo it?
Try the ASTREL 100 if you want to compare a forgiving setup and can handle its 280 g nominal frame weight throughout a full session.
What to watch for
At 280 g, check stability against pace as well as quick preparation; a lower static weight does not prove a lower swingweight.
Demo against
Wilson Clash 100L v3 — 280 g / 100 sq in; compare handling and depth with the same strings.
Wilson Clash 100 v3 — 295 g / 100 sq in; compare handling and depth with the same strings.
A useful on-court test
Compare rally depth, firm returns, second serves and quick exchanges. Finish with points after at least 30 minutes; check that preparation still feels comfortable. Use comparable strings and grip sizes, and take your current racket as the baseline.
See the published specification table above. Swingweight and UK grip-specific availability are not established by the manufacturer reference; confirm them before ordering.
Ask for the bumper, throat, both sides of the hoop, grommets and grip butt in clear photos. A is excellent cosmetic condition, B shows normal wear, C needs a closer cost check; structural damage is a reason to walk away regardless of price. A grade does not establish authenticity or structural safety.
